We give back TO OUR COMMUNITY
The practice of Entrepreneurial Activism is something we care deeply about here at Spooky Digital. When you know what your values are, and find ways to express them through your work, it makes the job fulfilling and worthwhile. For us, the positive impact were able to make on the people around us, and the communities we're a part of is the true measure of our success.
WOMEN'S FIGHTS - After the women's march in 2017, we started offering free self-defense classes to women in our community.
We enlisted the help of other martial artists around the United States and had free classes running from NYC to Los Angeles!
The classes were featured on a variety of local and national news outlets.
FREE HAIRCUTS AT CHIPS HOMELESS SHELTER & SOUP
KITCHEN - We partnered with Benny's Barbershop to offer free haircuts to those in need at the shelter / kitchen in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
We got PIX 11 news to come out and cover the event, garnering valuable attention for the amazing work CHiPS does in the community!
HAIRCUTS FOR PEURTO RICO HURRICANE RELIEF WITH BROOKLYN BLENDS - Spooky Digital and Brooklyn Blends barbershop in Park Slope teamed up to raise money to support hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
The shop donated 100% of the revenue they made for two days to a non-profit that works closely with Puerto Rico residents to get them what they need.
Dan, G, and Yorrick from Spooky Digital volunteered to help promote the event and collected donations on the street outside.
